Snowflakes are actually the perfect metaphor for people. Each one IS unique, but we all have the same structure and are pretty similar in spite of our differences. And really, with as many around as there is, aint no one gonna notice your differences unless they care enough to look closely.

People are also similar to snowflakes in that it is difficult to drive when there are too many of them piled up on the road.

Well that took a turn I didn’t expect

"

I took another sip of wine. With the tip of the knife I cut around the shape made by my splayed fingers on the table, my hand and my arm sheathed now in the black lace glove that reached up to above the elbow, where a kind of wainscot of white skin separated the black glove from the edge of my sleeveless dress.

I noticed that the men at all the surrounding tables were watching me.

For my freelance copywriting class we’re supposed to come up with our own business and tagline. So I went with my nickname and my best friend’s nickname, which is Goose and Duck. After a bit of editing and help from Duck, it became The Fowl Letters Copywriting. Then I had to come up with a tagline. And because it’s 11 o’clock at night and I don’t function well, I came up with “Writing for you in a finch.” AND I SUBMITTED IT TO MY TEACHER. WHAT HAVE I DONE? IS HE EVEN GOING TO GET IT. OH MY GAWD. WHAT DID I DO.
